The Magic of Forest Bathing

Let’s go all-natural…

Hunter and I try to get into nature for at least 15 minutes a day, but in reality, we probably go once a week. We try and make Sundays our day of nature. We hike, put our cell phones away, spend some time with the puppy, and breathe in the fresh air. We are intentional about being in nature, slowing down, and really connecting. It really is such a simple thing to do and you get so much in return.

Nature has officially been proven to be the ultimate stress buster. Studies have shown that spending time in nature can help with: anxiety, fatigue, sleep, energy, immune support, and metabolic health. Don’t believe me?! You can read more about it here and/or watch my video.

To practice forest bathing, you can: Walk slowly in the forest, deep breathing, sit and enjoy the scenery, walk barefoot, and/or meditate. The goal here is to slow down, be intentional, and reconnect with nature.

So get outside and enjoy what our mama earth gave us. Even if it is only for 15 minutes.

Until next time, stay sweet! Byeeeeeeeee!
