A Kale Salad You'll Actually Like

Kale Yeah...

My husband loves kale. He can actually eat it raw. It's really impressive. I, on the other hand, prefer my leaves with a bit of taste. So I developed a kale salad that him and I can share together.  Check it out! Bon appétit!

Ingredients:

1 Bunch Kale
1/4 Red Onion
6 Slices Bacon
Handful Slivered Almonds
Handful Dried Cranberries
Salt
Pepper

Instructions:

Cut bacon into small bits. Turn stove to medium heat. Place bacon bits in un-greased pan. Chop kale into ready-to-eat bites and place in large bowl. Set aside. Dice red onion. Once bacon is browned, turn heat to low. Add diced red onion to pan and sauté with bacon for 2 minutes. Add handful of Slivered Almonds to pan, turn heat to medium and stir for 1 minute.  Pour pan contents straight over kale and mix. Add salt and pepper while bacon grease is still warm. Enjoy!
