3 Fall Recipes I'm Excited to Cook

A cool breeze means a warm oven…

as the air gets cooler and crisp, I am definitely one to turn to my oven or stove. I love the heat it creates in our home and the smells that fall food brings. It’s magical, it’s homey, and it’s always food I eat too much of. These are my top 3 meals to cook for Fall, usually on repeat and for friends and family.

Zucchini Muffins

I borrowed this indulgent recipe from Kristin Cavallari’s cookbook, True Roots. These mini muffins are a Pence household favorite. They usually get made and eaten in the same day which just goes to show you how delicious they really are!

Greek Lentil Soup

This recipe comes from my childhood home and my mother’s kitchen. It has been essential to fall and winter seasons since I can remember. What I love about this recipe is how easy and how much it makes. You can freeze it and pull it out for a last-minute meal which for me is a game-changer!

Pumpkin Cheesecake

Okay, now cheesecake is my all-time favorite dessert and is pretty much perfect for any season. Add pumpkin and you are ready for Fall. Cheesecakes are not the easiest thing to make, but they might just be the tastiest. After lots of practice, I nailed this Martha Stewart recipe. I didn’t mind all the mess-ups or imperfections because it simply just meant more cheesecake for me!
