As an inexperienced bartender and someone who loves to host but not be kept in the kitchen, my friend, Alex, came over to help me craft a cocktail that can be made and stored in a batch available when anyone comes over. Easy to make and absolutely delicious! Introducing the batch Old Fashioned…

Ingredients:

16 dashes of bitters

2 oz simple syrup

6 oz bourbon

6 oz rum

Ice

Instructions:

Add all ingredients to a carafe. Add ice last. Stir. Strain into a swing top or preferred easy to store bottle. When ready to serve, add ice, pour, and enjoy!
