Happy Trails…

There’s nothing like getting out of the city and onto the trail. Finding your inner stillness, reconnecting with Mother Earth, and soaking in all of those good vibes nature naturally gives aka Forest Bathing. I hope this encourages you to get outside, weather permitting, and enjoy what your mama gave you - Trees! Here are two of my favorite places that are easy to get to and will make you feel the wonder and awe that is this universe. Happy Hiking!

Natalie Coffin Greene Park

Pros: Close to SF, crazy beautiful, dog friendly, easy loops, and also long trails

Cons: Parking lot is tiny, need to find street parking. Allow for enough time to walk from the street to the trailhead.

Muir Woods

  • Pros: Beautiful, great for all levels, close to the city, ocean views, and trails are clearly marked

  • Cons: You have to make a reservation and you can’t bring your dog (Unless it’s a service animal)

Joaquin Miller Park

  • Pros: Dog-friendly, incredible views, easy and lush trails with a lot of space

  • Cons: still looking

I’m always looking for new places to hike. If you have hikes that are close to the city, please let me know below. Looking to add on to my list.

Until next time, stay sweet! Byeeeeeeee!
